Before the event started, Mike Senna transplanted the Sphero BB-8's innards into a transparent craft ornament.
Builders arrived and started setting up their droids and wares to display.
Norm Chan with tested.com came out to do some taping and interviews. My droid and I were featured for a brief shot, we'll see if I made the cut. Michael McMaster served as co-host.
